The NVIDIA Operations organization is seeking an experienced software engineering professional for the position of System Data Architect. As a member of our team you will be an integral part of building data platforms and tools. You will support initiatives for the Data Platform, Reporting, and Analytics. Your work will turn data into information leading to insights and business results.What you'll be doing: Leading and planning with team members and IT to identify and implement the right data strategy, given data sources, data locations, and use cases. We work on data tools used in testing of semiconductor chips, boards, systems, and servers. We develop in house suite of tools that work from the ground up. Processing logs into data platforms, analytics and custom visualizations for large scale data analysis.Build, scale, and optimize self-serve ETL frameworks, streaming pipelines to handle data storage and real-time analyticsDesign and implement framework modules to extract data from various source systems, validate the integrity, apply business transformation, and store data in a Data Lake (AWS, Azure, others)Enable a self-service and Machine Learning platform for individual business unitsTake ownership of data platform and transformation tools used in AI&MLWhat we need to see: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information System, or equivalent experience with programming knowledge (i.e. Python, Database architectures, etc.)10+ years of relevant experienceExperienced in defining/leading projects, collecting requirements, setting timelines, and delivering on resultsExperience in architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouses/data lakes for complex data ecosystemsStrong Python experience, with focus in data extraction and transformationsIn-depth experience in crafting ETL pipelines using Spark, SQL, AWS/CloudSolid understanding of operational processes in semi-chips, boards, systems, and serversWays to stand out from the crowd: Self-starter, positive problem-solving outlook, ability to multi-task, and demonstrate strong organization skillsWorking knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, Docker, TerraformExperience with structured data such as Parquet, Protobuf, and concepts like schema evolutionBackground with semi structured log parsingExperience with SAP systems integration, Datamart, Business objects as well as experience with visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Jupyter NotebooksWith competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are considered to be the technology industry's best employers.
