NVIDIA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Simulation Engineer to join the Omniverse Physics team. The engineer will help us push the boundaries of both fidelity and performance of real-time physics simulation as an essential tool for applications ranging from robotics and industrial digital twins to content creation. The role entails contributing to the PhysX SDK and/or its robust integration within Omniverse Physics.What you'll be doingDevelop and debug in cross-platform C++ and PythonCreate feature demos in USD to showcase and document featuresSetup first-principles-derived unit tests to check correctness of physics simulationSupport internal and external usersWhat we need to see:Strong C++ development skillsB.S. or higher in an engineering major like computer science, robotics, mechanical engineering, etc.3 years work experience at minimumStrong analytical skills in analysis, linear algebra, and physicsExcellent team player with very strong work ethic and a collaborative/cooperative attitudeWays to stand out from the crowd:Background in any of CAD, robotics, physics simulation, 3D animation, or AIExperience developing cloud-deployed solutionsExperience working in a large code base
