NVIDIA is hiring a Sr. Engineer for Product Compliance and Sustainability within the Ops Compliance group. NVIDIA is a Learning Machine. The Ops Compliance group is responsible for product, packaging, and supply chain compliance in each of these segments as defined by regulatory, industry and/or customer requirements.What You'll Be Doing:Build and manage Ops Climate Emissions reduction program to support Corp Climate Goals as it relates to Operations for product, manufacturing, and supplier operations. Climate Program includes Carbon Disclosure Project, Emission allocations, Level of Assurance, Validation audits, Science Based Target Initiative, Process/Equipment efficiency and Renewable Energy.Build and manage Compliance program for meeting obligations for Digital Product Passport. This includes Product Carbon Footprint, Power/Energy Efficiency, Ecodesign, Reuse, Repair, Maintenance, Quality, Reliability, Presence of Substances of Concern and End Of Life recyclability.Create and manage Product Compliance programs for meeting regulatory requirements for PFAS restrictions.Develop and manage packaging compliance requirement program. Program will ensure compliance for New Product Introduction and roll in compliance plans for existing products. Cross functional effort working with Product Engineering, Creative, Packaging and Sales.Manage existing Product Compliance programs for NVIDIA operations to ensure NVIDIA and suppliers meet our internal and external requirements.Manage Customer requests for data, contract review and compliance documentation. Provide solutions and guidance to meet or exceed customer requests and expectations.Support supplier Quarterly Business Reviews with respect to environmental and sustainable criteria based on NVIDIA requirements for critical/strategic suppliers.Identify process improve opportunities for compliance team procedures covering all components, packaging, and final products to ensure proper documentation for compliance to EPEAT, RoHS, REACH, ELV, RBA, RSIP, WEEE, Low Halogen, Forced labor, Security and Conflict Minerals.Work with new and existing suppliers and manufacturing partners to improve awareness and support of NV product and sustainability compliance programs.What We Need to See:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Field or equivalent experience10+ years of proven experience in compliance for electronics manufacturingExpert level understanding of regulations to anticipate regulatory direction for industry compliance.Self-Motivated and driven with minimal need for direction.High level of ability to coordinate with different departments within the company to complete project landmarks including engineering, safety, legal, procurement, sales, IT, InfoSec, Produce Security, creative and marketing.Interpret customer requirements and resolve applicability to NVIDIA Operations.Ability to document and organize files for compliance, audits and future reference.Identify continuous improvement opportunities for efficiency or to cover any gaps identified internally or within the supply chain.Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:Expert level knowledge of ISO Management Systems and audits: i.e. ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO14064, ISO45001, ISO50001, ISO22301, ISO27001Validated achievements in sustainability improvements and climate change emissions reductions.Lead Auditor experience.Knowledge of compliance with EPEAT requirements for product and supply chain.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
