Material Handler

This is our life’s work, to amplify human creativity and intelligence.We are currently seeking a Material Handler to join our growing team in Santa Clara reporting to the receiving supervisor, specializing in the efficient distribution of products across our campus. As a member of our organization, you will play a significant role in ensuring timely and accurate receiving and delivery of Nvidia products to various campus locations.What you will be doing:Receive products and packages from different carriers and validate their counts and conditions.Sort incoming materials by departments.Verify physical contents against the packing slips & POs and inspect contents to assure they are in good condition. Perform receipts & transactions in SAP.Label and prepare materials for distribution within the Nvidia campus.Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in the distribution process.Safely transport packages to campus buildings and locations based on assignment.Maintain organized staging areas for efficient distribution operations.Keep accurate records of product receipts and distribution activities to support tracking and reporting.What we need to see:High school diploma or equivalent experience.Familiarity with computer systems and inventory management software, such as SAP and tracking systems.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a warehouse environment, with knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment such as scanners, with certification preferred.Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds and walk for extended periods of time.Effective communication skills enabling clear interactions with colleagues and internal customers.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.Motivated self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks, and willingness to work overtime as needed.Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills to ensure accurate processing and distribution of the products.Ability to follow defined schedules and carry out assigned duties to maintain workflow and efficiency.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Experience in SAP Receiving and inventory ERP systems.Demonstrate excellent communication and people skills.Knowledge & experience working with NPI products in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated, and passionate about working in a constantly evolving environment with a positive attitude and approach.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
