We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner, with passion and expertise in the ER and Performance Management domain, to provide support to a global Engineering organization and their HR Business partners. You will be the central point of contact and owner of all of our ER issues.What you'll be doing:Specifically, you will partner with the Engineering HRBPs, our Legal team and business managers to lead Employee Relations matters including Performance Improvement Plans management. You will provide guidance, conflict resolution, conduct investigations when needed, and handle any other employee relations issues. You will also serve as a coach and consultant to various parties as a subject matter authority in these areas. Most importantly, you will help us ensure that our workforce remains productive, healthy, and focused on optimal contribution and performance. You will help us do all of this while upholding our values and culture of directness, honesty, and being part of a collaborative team. This role is essential in supporting all our employees and managers to navigate the complexities that can arise in helping individuals and teams do their life’s best work at our company. Having the right coaching, facilitator, and expert guidance while honoring our company culture is the core of your role and responsibility to our managers and employees. You will need excellent communication skills, project planning, and critical thinking skills. Additionally, it is crucial to be able to function in a fast paced and innovative environment with high volume of email and quick responsiveness. You must be enthusiastic about solving complex issues, have excellent consulting skills, flexibility and creativity in problem solving, and be a committed professional in the Employee Relations domain. Working with data and providing insight from data is a key requirement for this role.What we need to see:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration or related field.10+ years of experience as a HRBP and focus on ER issues.Excellent coaching and facilitation skills.Solid knowledge of employment laws and previous collaboration with Legal and HR partners on sensitive and high-risk mattersStrong analytical and critical thinking skills including proficiency in Excel and HRIS tools.Excellent verbal and written communication skills: succinct, concise, and direct.Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to ‘read the room’, work with technical people, and high degree of interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to switch between tactical and strategic work and embracing both as part of the job.The base salary range is $176,000 - $276,000.
