NVIDIA is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Omniverse team! We are looking for an engineer to support, contribute, develop and maintain the foundational code of the Omniverse project. In this role, you will be part of a global team that designs and improves the software libraries and tools to deliver great value to the Omniverse ecosystem.What you’ll be doing:Collect requirements and specification, and elaborate proposals.Work with the team to develop libraries and tools in C++ and Python.Introduce best practices and bleeding edge technology into Omniverse.Inform and train other developers about the latest improvements.What we need to see:Excellent problem solving, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.Strong C++ and Python knowledge, experience developing tools and libraries dedicated to other developers.Knowledge of how compilers and interpreters work internally. Strong understanding of algorithms and computer architecture.BS or MS in EE, CE, CS, Systems Engineering and 4 years of experience in a related software position.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Experience in maintaining core libraries for large projects.Experience in multi-platform developmentSpecific knowledge of the python interpreter internals.Knowledge of Modern C++ standards (C++17, C++20, C++23)Self-motivated towards team goalsNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
