NVIDIA is looking for a Software Engineer to support our growing investments in performance testing of various company products. You will be part of global performance lab team and will work to improve our team’s ability to expertly and accurately test a growing number of applications and hardware platforms as well as perform debugging of both tools and applications. We also work to develop new benchmarks from provided applications and libraries while we coordinate with multi-functional teams to develop automation tools based on their needs.With your help, our team will reduce request completion time, perform more challenging programming tasks, increase testing coverage of applications and hardware platforms, and better serve our customers through new and improved testing processes. We work in a dynamic environment where multiple projects will be active at once and priorities may shift frequently.What you’ll be doing:Develop software to automate the testing of applications and hardware platformsWork with other engineers to identify processes to be improved with automationUsing modern technologies with the latest hardwareWhat we need to see:Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline and 5+ years of relevant experienceSolid understanding of software design principlesProgramming and debugging skills with various languages (Python, Rust and Golang strongly preferred)Experience with Windows programmingAdvanced knowledge of Linux based systems (CentOS and Ubuntu strongly preferred)English verbal and written communication skills to best collaborate with coworkersExcellent analytical skills to identify areas to improveWays to stand out from the crowd:Excellent skills in Python, Rust, Golang or C++Good knowledge of modern DevOps processes and technologiesExperience in various virtualization and containerization technologiesProgramming experience with Deep Learning frameworks, CUDA, MPI or HPC clusters
