NVIDIA is looking for an expert Test Technician to support our advanced development and production engineering teams as they develop and test advanced thermal management systems for NVIDIA’s data center accelerated computing solutions. As a member of NVIDIA, you will be an integral member of a complementary team that defines and develops these solutions. What you'll be doing:Assemble, debug, and operate highly instrumented test set-ups for thermal validation of advanced hybrid liquid/air cooling concepts.Configure data acquisition systems for data capture during thermal and power validation.Perform IT testing and benchmarking across a spectrum of power, thermal, and workload (benchmark) conditions.Assemble IT rack infrastructure including servers, rack power distribution units, and rack coolant manifolds.Perform thermal chamber testing of IT equipment.Assist with methods for IT assembly and rack installation.Participate as One Team on a broad spectrum of activities/needs (e.g., design, validation, support) of product and research programs.What We Need to See:Diploma/Certification, Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years’ of hands-on experience in an electronic or testing lab.Relevant hands-on hardware/software debug experience.Experience with Linux command line operation.Solid system-level debugging experience and familiarity with board bring-up, remote employee support, and customer support.Good attention to detail, as well as clear written and verbal communications skills.Demonstrated experience configuring and running data acquisition systems.Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Must have the ability to lift heavy objects every day.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Experience with lab test equipment setups for signal measurement using oscilloscopes and ability to read schematics.Ability to operate various IT cooling equipment like coolant distribution units (CDUs), liquid-to-air heat exchangers, and chillers.Experience with servers and their basic operation, including how server management processors such as BMCs operate.Proven basic networking knowledge and server maintenance.Demonstrated ability to build tools, write scripts, and otherwise overcome problems in deterministic ways.The base salary range is $48,000 - $89,700.
