NVIDIA is looking for a Senior leader to lead large scale Jenkins and Kubernetes private cloud system used for Continuous Integration services across multiple teams at NVIDIA. As a team we work with various groups within NVIDIA such as Graphics Processors, Mobile Processors, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Vehicles to cater to their various infrastructure needs. These cloud services will be scaled to run on thousands of servers and implementing millions of automated jobs per day helping with the efficiency of thousands of NVIDIA's software engineers worldwide. As part of these services we host heterogeneous mix of machines with various operating systems (Windows/Linux/Android), multitude of hardware platforms (x86/ARM) having both NVIDIA GPUs and Tegra Processors. You will need to have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of cloud technologies, orchestration & automation systems, data centers and cloud architecture, as well as excellent communication and planning skills.What you'll be doing:Build, lead and develop a team of full-stack, backend, cloud engineers passionate about developing scalable cloud solutions to scale to millions of jobs and thousands of systemsDrive architects, designers, engineers to build and operate key pieces of a complete infrastructure to manage significant problems in area of infrastructure such as job scheduling, resource management and automated recovery.Collaborate with different teams to identify new features and lead the developers in definition, implementation as well as productization of those featuresApply software development processes, adapting to an agile environment and overlook the activities of your team.Develop roadmaps, perform prioritization and software development schedules.What we need to see:You have a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience5+ years experience in leading a software development team in agile environment as well as performance sensitive and/or real-time software and customer facing software products.10+ or more overall years of experience in software design, including debugging, performance analysis, and testing designs.Highly proficient in developing large scale cloud infrastructure applicationsKnowledge of various technologies (Kubernetes, Kafka)Experience with Containers (Docker, Kubernetes) Web Services (SOAP/REST) and Scalable Storage(HDFS/Ceph)Experience with Relational Databases such as MySQL, NoSQL DBs such as Elastic Search, MongoDB, HBaseAbility to collaborate across multiple team and across people working in different time zones.Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills, you have the ability to work successfully with multi-functional teams and coordinate effectively across organizational boundaries and geographies.
