NVIDIA is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement facilities for data ingress, movement, and egress to and from our enterprise AI/ML systems and services. You will get the opportunity to build a foundational service which is critical to the usability of these important products. To achieve this goal, we are looking for an engineer who has a deep understanding of distributed systems development, object storage, network file transfer protocols, and file systems. Please note: this is a software engineering position and requires a strong history of delivering on software development projects.What you'll be doing:Design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of innovative software solutions for data ingestion, movement, and managementSolve technical problems spanning the areas of orchestration, distributed systems, service modeling, API modeling, monitoring, deployment, and automationDevelop and maintain ETL processes to transform and cleanse data during ingestion and migration.Build highly reliable distributed systems that our customers can depend on for their own businessWork with multi-function teams to make our storage and data management easier, faster and more productive for applicationsWhat we need to see:5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and deploying distributed systems for handling large-scale data integrationHistory of ownership of product delivery from inception to supportPrior experience developing distributed systems with Go (preferred), Java or similarBachelor’s of Science in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experienceWays to stand out from the crowd:Previous accomplishments building ETL tooling for production systems at scale.
