This position provides the opportunity to research, implement, productize, and deliver deep learning algorithms for applications to life sciences and drug discovery. The team engages in applied research and then helps productize this work.What you will be doing:Prototype and build deep learning algorithms for protein structure prediction and designCollaborate with multiple AI infrastructure and research teamsWhat we need to see:Pursuing a MS or PhD Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Physics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics (or a related field) and within one year of graduationExpertise in deep learning and machine learningStrong experience with Python libraries for data science analysis (e.g. NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib) and deep learning (PyTorch or TensorFlow)Expertise in protein design, structural proteomics, and/or processing of biochemical dataYou should display strong communication skills, be organized and self-motivated, and play well with others (be a phenomenal teammate)Ways to stand out from the crowd:Background with open source developmentExperience with C/C++, CUDA, dockerExperience with modeling and validation of protein sequences and/or protein structures and related tools, such as biopython, mmseqs2, jackhmmer, PyMolBackground with diffusion models, equivariant models, and/or transformer-based NLP modelsRelevant publication history and/or conference attendanceWith highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology industry's most desirable employers.
