We are now looking for a Senior Logic Design Engineer!As a member of our DGX FPGA Logic Design Team, you will be responsible for a portion of the FPGA design, focusing on such tasks as micro-architectural definition, RTL coding, logic debug, synthesis and timing closure, supporting verification, implementation, and system level validation/debug. We have crafted a team of extraordinary people stretching around the globe, whose mission is to push the frontiers of what is possible today and define the platform for the future of computing.What you'll be doing:As a member of our DGX FPGA design team, you'll own and be responsible for crafting and timely delivery of specific block(s) on the FPGA.Day to day tasks include: writing readable high quality RTL, synthesis and timing closure, design documentation, and supporting system level validation/debug in lab.Collaborate with our design verification team to verify the correctness of your unit.Interact with the system arch team to develop FPGA design requirements and implement design to hit all specifications and targets.Assist with overall FPGA design activities.What we need to see:Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in FPGA and/or ASIC semiconductor designs.Verilog/System Verilog expertise required as is a deep understanding of ASIC/FPGA design flow including RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, prototyping, DFT, timing analysis, and lab bring up / debugStrong communication and interpersonal skills are required along with the work in a dynamic, global team. Your successful track record of mentoring junior engineers and interns a huge plus.A strong background in FPGA design and FPGA EDA tools from Xilinix/Altera such as Vivado/Quartus is highly desirable.Familiarity with industry standard protocols such as I2C, SPI, JTAG, PCIE, USB, Ethernet, Encryption as well as languages such as embedded C, python, perl is a plus.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
