Applied AI & Deep Learning Research Intern, NeMo AI Applications

We are now looking for an Applied AI & Deep Learning Research Intern to join NeMo AI Applications team! Our team works on long context capability of foundational Large Language Models (LLMs as well as novel architectures. We also continuously question and improve the current benchmarks and metrics to better measure the quality of our models. Do you love the challenge of training deep learning models? If so, then join our team who designs large deep learning systems for NLP.What you'll be doing:Develop and prototype new Deep Learning models and training algorithms for NLPIf needed, design new or improve current benchmarks and metrics to better measure the quality of your modelsOpen-source models using NeMo conversational AI frameworkSubmitting an academic paper by the end of the internshipWhat we need to see:Pursuing a Master's or PhD in Computer Science or Electrical EngineeringStrong knowledge and 1+ years of experience in Deep Learning for NLPCritical thinking and strong problem solving skillsExcellent Python programming skillsExcellent PyTorch programming skillsAbility to work independentlyAbility to work in a teamWays to stand out from the crowd:Publications record (ACL, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, EMNLP, NAACL,…)2+ years of experience in Deep Learning for NLPExperience with LLMsContribution to open-source projectsKnowledge in intermediate Statistics/Optimization/Numerical AnalysisNVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
