NVIDIA is seeking Hardware Farm Lead to build, debug and support global HW infrastructure for silicon validation. The complex nature of the hardware creates interesting challenges. Someone with solid understanding and innovative thinking is required to support meeting critical breakthroughs. As part of the Silicon Solutions Team, we are responsible for productizing NVIDIA's chips into groundbreaking consumer, professional, server, mobile, and automotive solutions.What You'll Be Doing:Lead and coordinate the setup, configuration and maintenance of lab machines consisting of GPUs, CPUs and SoCs collectively called as HW FarmManage the SW components of the systems with various operating systems, performance and stress testing tools, and client installations.Conduct sanity runs on the farm systems to ensure accurate thermal and power levels before releasing to the users.Perform first level debug to isolate issues at both hardware (GPU board, motherboard and HW peripherals) and software levels (OS, Drivers, Firmware etc.).Provide critical support, collaborating with infrastructure, facilities, and hardware rework lab groups.Coordinate with multiple silicon functional teams to enable smooth operation of the HW Farm.Maintain and send detailed reports on the status of machines in the farmWhat we need to see:B.E/B. Tech in ECE or CSE with 3+ years of experience in the HW/Silicon domainIn-depth knowledge of various motherboard platforms, SoCs, PC HW like graphics cards, memory and storage.Proficiency in different operating systems and Python scripting.Familiarity with modular and cross-platform display driver branches.Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills to effectively convey technical information and collaborate across global teams.Excellent problem solving abilities to address complex hardware and software issues in the lab and farm infrastructure.Prior experience in managing a hardware farm or lab setup and an understanding of silicon validation processes.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
