Data Center Deployment Specialist

NVIDIA seeks a Data Center Deployment Specialist to join its Professional Services team. Academic and commercial groups worldwide use NVIDIA products to redefine deep learning data analytics and power data centers. NVIDIA is looking for someone who can work on a multifaceted, customer-focused team that requires good interpersonal skills. This role will harmonize with customers, partners, and internal teams to analyze, define, and implement large-scale data center projects. The scope of these efforts includes a combination of leading cabling teams running validation of the network with the customer and raising issues internally as needed.NVIDIA has earned worldwide recognition as a leading force in AI and GPU-accelerated computing. As a Data Center Deployment Specialist at NVIDIA, you will be vital in engaging customers who build their new Data Centers within our North American region. Your responsibilities will involve building positive relationships, addressing challenges, and assisting in optimally conducting NVIDIA solutions at the Data Centers.What you will be doing:Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to capture requirements during internal NVIDIA and external client calls, ensuring a clear understanding of project needs.Ensure the BOM accurately matches the project's requirements and system topology, preventing discrepancies.Documentation Support: Assist in creating essential documents, including peer-to-peer (P2P) documents and "master" technical documents like Dell SID, supplying comprehensive project documentation.Document Ownership: Take ownership of any missing critical documents crucial for meeting project requirements and specifications, ensuring that all vital information is available.Handover Materials: Build well-documented handover materials to facilitate a smooth transition for field Solution Architects, enabling them to progress efficiently with project execution.What we need to see:5+ years of experience as a data center technician, field service engineer or similar.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.In-depth knowledge of data center environments, servers, and network equipment.Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center equipment.Outstanding ability to work as part of a team, provide IT support, and resolve errors.Proficiency in detailing network processes.Willingness to travel (25%).The base salary range is 116,000 USD - 184,000 USD.
