We are looking to hire a hands-on Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) for data science engineering, covering accelerated data science products like RAPIDS, NVIDIA’s open-source, Python data science libraries. You will work with multiple engineering, DevOps, product, and customer-facing teams to coordinate and support data science products included in NVIDIA AI Enterprise, NVIDIA’s suite of enterprise AI applications which offers 100+ frameworks, pretrained models, and development tools to accelerate data science and streamline development and deployment of production AI.What you'll be doing:Represent data science products included in NVIDIA’s suite of enterprise AI applications (“AI Enterprise”), with responsibility for coordinating all related data science-related AI Enterprise activities.Coordinate with various engineering and DevOps teams to prepare for AI Enterprise requirements, including dependency management, build process alignment, testing coordination, and release management.Work with engineering and DevOps teams to define and/or refine AI Enterprise build and test processes to improve consistency, quality, and automation.Define, implement, and manage (together with engineering) customer engagement processes to support data science products in AI Enterprise, including processes to resolve customer issues under SLA.Prioritize and manage customer issues and enhancement requests.Assist in building critical metrics, program schedules to measure release health, predictability, and achievements.Work closely with internal and external partners including other organizations within NVIDIA.What we need to see:Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant degree (or equivalent experience).10+ years of relevant experience (e.g. as a software engineering-focused technical program manager, or as a software engineer, engineering tech lead, or technical product manager with program management experience).Deep understanding of what it takes to develop, build, and deploy modern C++, CUDA, and/or Python software, including dependency management and build process alignment.Able to work on multiple complex & company critical projects effectively with a team of engineers and other teammates in a dynamic and innovative environment.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to tailor your message to different levels of management.Ability to adapt to new challenges and promote delivery of software on time and at the highest quality possible.Ability to work independently, take-charge, and influence a matrix organization with minimal hand-holding.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Experience with production C++ and/or CUDA build systems, ideally with hands-on experience as a software or DevOps engineer.Programming (C++, Python) or data science experience, or other related technical background or degree in Computer Science/Engineering.Demonstrated experience aligning multiple technical teams to solve complex problems with possibly unclear or conflicting objectives.Experience supporting customer-facing software, ideally including development or management of processes to resolve customer issues under SLA.Experience with and passion for open source software development, the PyData ecosystem, and related tools (e.g. GitHub).Be able to demonstrate initiative and determination in getting things done.Experience with issue-tracking and planning tools—ideally GitHub.The base salary range is 180,000 USD - 287,500 USD.
