Speech AI Research Intern - 2024

We are now looking for an Speech AI Research Intern to join our AI Applications team! With Deep Learning, we can teach AI to do almost anything, and GPUs are the most productive platform for deep learning and AI. It begins with the most advanced GPUs and the systems and software we build on top of them, like speech recognition or language translation. Do you love the challenge of training deep learning models? Do you love the challenge of identifying and optimizing the latest AI algorithms to help us grow into new and more pervasive verticals? If so, then join our team who designs large deep learning systems for speech and language processing.What you'll be doing:Develop and prototype new Deep Learning models and training algorithms for speech recognition, speaker diarization, speech enhancement, speech augmented LLMs, speech translationWhat we need to see:Pursuing a Master's, Ph.D. or equivalent in Computer Science or Electrical EngineeringStrong knowledge in Deep Learning for ASR, speaker diarization, speech enhancement, or speech translationExcellent Python programming skillsExperience with PyTorchAbility to work independentlyWays to stand out from the crowd:Familiarity with Transformer/Conformer architecture based models or diffusion modelsFamiliarity with Large Language Models like GPT, LlamaData augmentation techniques for speech and audioSynthetic data generation techniques for speechC++ or CUDA programming experienceNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
