Corporate Real Estate Technology Project ManagerDescription -You’re an exceptional project manager who understands that a project is more than a set of tasks and delivery of project value comes with ongoing use of the product.  You get excited learning about smart buildings, workplace technologies, space utilization and improving employee experiences.  You understand how CRE technology enhances the experience for owners, operators and users within the space.  You are comfortable discussing data aggregation and integration, cyber security controls, and business requirements with subject matter experts to define, clarify and deliver on project requirements.   This position’s primary focus will be to:Plan and deliver corporate real estate technology pilots while using an outsource provider for construction managementDeliver upgraded workspaces to improve employee experience and facilitate business activitiesCoordinate and partner with HP IT and Cyber Security on vendor and technology evaluation and implementationCommunicate with a wide variety of stakeholdersOversee the implementation of a change manage programFollowing up after project completion to confirm project goals were metDuties and ResponsibilitiesManages multiple large, strategic, complex projects/programs, ensuring commissioning and close-out process completion.Oversees transition of business functions between sites for the duration of projects and communicates process details and site changes to impacted HP employees and communities.Participates in project development, scopes projects independently, obtains management approval, creates multi-function project team, implements project steps, and communicates results to senior management.Collaborates with procurement and legal functions to select and contract with new and existing partner vendors, and to hire external project/ construction managers to manage external vendors in a country or sub- region.Collaborates proactively with CREWS functions (Portfolio Strategy, Service Delivery, Sustainability, Finance) and HP IT to understand customer needs and project finances.Completes projects within approved budget and timing.Contributes ideas to process standards for project management.Develops plans and oversees completion of reports used in requesting funding for projects.Evaluates available design options and provides comparisons of designs based on cost, energy- efficiency, and sustainability.Education and Experience RequiredFirst level university degree with a focus in engineering or architectural design; advanced degree or professional license (in engineering or architecture) preferred.Typically 6-10 years of work experience in a related field recommended.Knowledge and SkillsAdvanced knowledge and understanding of industry, including emerging trends in multiple countries and technical aspects of the job.Strong ability to forecast changes in the industry in multiple countries and to integrate new designs and innovations, while foreseeing how projects will affect future building functions.Expert understanding of the vendor industry in multiple countries, permit processes, regulations, and internal HP standards.Excellent communication, influence, presentation, and negotiation skills.Advanced planning skills and ability to meet budgeting and time commitments.Strong business acumen.Strong team leading and collaboration skills.Good understanding of multiple culturesAbility to remotely manage multiple large, strategic, complex projects with site visits only at critical milestones.Job -Corporate AdministrationSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Mexico)Travel -NoRelocation -NoEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
