The architect will apply advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex issues and will directly contribute to the development of innovative solutions and methods.Responsibilities:Develops aggressive and optimized audio solutions for new laptops.  Includes system floor planning, audio speaker layout, and component and technology selections.Influences strategic suppliers on solutions that enable delivering differentiated products for HP customers.Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and outsourced development partner relationships; creates plans for integration into future HP products.Leverages domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership and outsourced development partners.Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards; integrates suggestions, updates, and innovations into overall architectures and leads platform architecture processes.Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of design and development innovation and excellence.Education and Experience Required:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical degreeTypically 10+ years experience.Knowledge and Skills:Experience architecting audio solutions for PC clients or consumer electronic devices.Knowledge of full PC system dynamics and their impact/interaction with audio solutions.Demonstrated history of innovation.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in EnglishAbility to effectively communicate product design proposals and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.Job -EngineeringSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -YesEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
