Software Engineer - Model TrainingDescription -Responsibilities• Assess datasets and identify base models that can be used as a starting point for Artificial Intelligence fine-tuning.• Use Peft/Lora libraries to fine-tune the base model of choice.• Develop the “training pipeline” to automatically deploy datasets to a service that will output a tuned model.• Maintain and scale the infrastructure.• Apply model fine-tuning expertise to assess pertinent technology to implement alternative solutions and toolsets as appropriate.• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.• Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership.• Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of software systems design and development innovation and excellenceKnowledge & Skills• Familiarity with Python and the various libraries in Python used for AI:  Pytorch, Peft, Lora, Accelerate, Distributed, etc.• Familiarity with ONNX runtime and Olive optimization.• Knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.Education & Experience• Bachelor's degree in relevant area or demonstrated competence.
