The Large Format Printing GBU is responsible for the business strategy, product portfolio and research and development for all HP Large Format Printing products at WW level, including HP DesignJet, HP PageWide XL, HP Latex and HP Stitch printers. We are looking for a recent graduate, junior with no experience, for an initial 1 year temporary contract, starting November.Work experience is not required, but appropriate internships in industry is an advantage (maximum of 8 months of Internship experience).Keep reading to know how you can be part of this community and become one of our innovators: Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe job content may/will include the following responsibilities:Co-design with application leads the lab implementable tests for media versatility validation and End to End application exploration and follow up the test execution.Do field research on media and application related topics, including application tendency, sustainability trend, new printing application in the industry, and etc.Analyze data to reach engineering conclusion which can be communicated to the program and partners (Customer Assurance, Marketing, R&D, etc).Present team learnings to internal partners and track the feedbacks.Supports the program pre-intro readiness activities: Early Customer units (Beta, Early Trade Unit (ETU).Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other internal partnership (from engineering team to marketing team)Contribute in cross disciplinary tasks as needed.Job RequirementsBachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD. degree in an Engineering, material engineering, physical sciences, computer science, or other related discipline.Previous experience with the printer design or printing related job or media design and manufacturing will be a plus.Fast learner. Proactive in acquiring autonomous knowledge in record time. Competency and skill growth focus. Independent judgment and ability to drive convergence and decisions.Goal oriented and good communication skill set. Ability to communicate technical data, research results and proposed solutions to different audience.Hands on approach and proficiency in experimental design. Familiar with DOE and data/statistical analysis techniquesHigh level of analytical problem solving and decision-making skillsStrong interpersonal relationship, teamwork, and communication skills.
