Privacy Program Manager – Global MarketingDescription -Privacy Program Manager – Global MarketingThe Role of Privacy in today's landscape has changed dramatically due to the fluid evolution in global regulations, technology & customer expectations. HP Inc. Marketing is looking for an experienced Privacy Program Manager to run the privacy program across Global Marketing operations with a focus on Risk Management, Advisory and Enablement.This role is critical, and success will be dependent on the ability to partner and collaborate with different stakeholders within Marketing and across the HP enterprise, including data & tech ops, business leaders, executives, and privacy peers. It will require a focused, risk-based, business-enabling privacy leader that can understand and drive complex privacy initiatives within a modern business, data & technology environment. ResponsibilitiesLead, enhance and continuously refine the Marketing Privacy Program against compliance requirements, business goals and data & technology operations.Establish and lead privacy partnerships & collaboration with internal Marketing teams and at the Enterprise level respectively, including MarTech, AdTech, Data Science, the Global Privacy Office, the Digital Transformation & IT organization and other HP Business Units and disciplines.Communicate complex privacy topics, requirements and influence necessary outcomes, including budget and roadmap planning with peers, business, data and leadership audiences.Independently and collaboratively make risk-based decisions and communicate relevant compliance requirements across critical marketing customer data operations, e.g, MarTech (CRM), AdTech (Web), various Cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-premises environments.Manage a variety of formal and informal, privacy risk-management activities, including Privacy Impact Assessments, Records of Processing, 3rd Party and Vendor risk, etcManage an ongoing compliance advisory and engagement practice to enable marketing teams to smoothly operate and plan ahead, including self-service resources and ongoing privacy socialization.Collaborate with key data and technology teams to assure the execution of customer Individual Rights requests, e.g., access, deletion, marketing consent, do not share, and the implementation of privacy requirements.Maintain current knowledge of applicable global privacy laws and monitor advancements in information privacy capabilities & topics to ensure an optimal privacy posture.Foster a culture of privacy across the Marketing organization and in engagement with Enterprise stakeholders.Advocate for Marketing point of view on the primacy of customer experience across the organizationEducation And ExperienceBachelor's degree and/or 10+ years Marketing, Business, consulting and/or equivalent industry experienceProven track record of leading large, complex privacy/compliance programs5-7+ years of experience working in a privacy-relevant role collaborating across several business areas & disciplinesExperience in technology industry preferredPrivacy certification such as CIPM, CIPP-E, CIPP-C and/or CIPP-US is preferred, not required.Knowledge And SkillsHands-on experience managing and performing privacy risk-management activities, including experience with GRC tools such as OneTrust, TrustArc and similar vendors in the Risk & Privacy Enhancing Technology space.The ability to manage a privacy program across cross-functional teams and clearly translate privacy context, requirements & key factors which impact relevant data processes, technologies and stakeholders.Hands-on experience with consent management systems and/or designResilient to constant change and comfortable pivoting as business needs and privacy laws arise/change.Strong understanding of and/or the ability to learn and document modern data flows across Marketing data processes and technologies.Strong strategic, critical thinking, diplomacy and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence with or w/o authority.Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to simply the complex for a variety of audiences including senior executives.Job -MarketingSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -25%Relocation -NoEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
