Senior Business AnalystDescription -What a Senior Business Analyst does at HP:Owns and reviews reports detailing performance indicators, sales trends, and other sales data-related analysis; highlights implications, drawing conclusions and recommendations from trends and observations.Define the metrics required to measure business performance, compare actual data to forecasted values, and develop the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps.Work with cross-functional teams across the entire span of business planning activities. Weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting including budget setting and planning cadence.Half yearly Sales quota deployment and sales compensation processWork closely with business leaders to develop business plans based on both historical and forecasted data and reports.Contribute to priority projects with complex analyses and assist in developing recommendations.Identify cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions. Leads multiple complex operational processes.Acts as a project manager for complex medium to large projects.Owns highly complex business sensitive deliverables; interprets complex analyses and reports, making recommendations and/or decisions on moderately complex issues.Provides expert direction and guidance to process improvements and establishment of policies.Solves complex business issues and make appropriate recommendations by applying advanced subject matter expertise.Provides leadership and training on specific processes to entry and intermediate level employees.Support Sales Organization in day-to-day operation especially on analysing reports, forecasting, planning etc.Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred in Finance or Business Administration.Typically, 6-10 years of experience in a business related function, preferably finance, accounting.Excellent communication skills (e.g., written, verbal, presentation).Expert knowledge and skills with business applications (e.g., Excel and Power BI).Ability to lead a team by mentoring and support junior team members.Advanced understanding of internal business processes and policies.Solid business acumen and understanding of accounting concepts.Sustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
