Financial Analyst-ControllershipDescription -This controller analyst role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to expand or consolidate his skills into the controllership area in a big multinational company covering responsibilities for Belgium entity as part of the Benelux cluster (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg). Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.Responsibilities: Manages full sets of accounts for Belgium entity including Balance sheet review.Ensures financial integrity of both internal (HP policy) and external (local legal statutory) planning and reporting.Ensures compliance of financial statements with US and local GAAP requirements and ensure appropriate business controls are in place for any systems and processes with financial impactPreparing, planning and filling of local statutory accounts in collaboration with internal and external teams such as audit.Ensures HP's assets are safeguarded and accounted for. Maintain timely and transparent disclosure of all contingencies, records management and control deficiencies. In charge of local country compliance council.Managing tax compliance: projection of corporate tax and VAT with internal Tax teams and external consultants, ensuring proper forecasting and timelines met.In charge of local ad-hoc paymentsWorks closely with country team.
