Sales Specialist - Retail & Industry SolutionsDescription -What a Sales Specialist - Retail & Industry Solutions does at HP:Create, maintain and drive sales pipeline, meet sales and margin target by closing sales.Collaborate with management and enterprise sales teams in shared accounts to ensure seamless integration of specialist sales with other sales activities.Maintain knowledge of any dynamics in the account including competitors to strategically position HP's products and services better.Use industry knowledge and expertise to seek new opportunities and expand existing opportunities to build the pipeline and drive pursuit.Support Retail Solution products (Retail Point-of-Sales), solution or service offerings as well as competitor's offerings to be able to sell large solutions.Work with / Provide support internally to Account managers, Partner Business Manager and externally to Partners and Independent Software Vendor (ISV).Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, up to and including the C-level for mid-to-large accounts.Direct and coordinate supporting sales activities.Support account plan and country business development plan.Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:University or Bachelor's degree.Understands the Retail and Hospitality industries: insights, opportunities, trends and challenges.Extensive selling experience within Retail or Hospitality industry and on similar Retail Solution products (RPOS) is a must.Deep knowledge in adjacent markets (eg. in Healthcare, Logistics, Finance, etc) and OEM business will be a valuable advantage.Minimum 3 years product sales in Retail Solutions.Typically 6-10 years of experience.Possess business and financial acumen.Sustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
