We apply new thinking and ideas to create simpler, more valuable and trusted experiences with technology, continuously improving the way our customers live and work.Position backgroundIn the GTM analytics COE our mission is to deliver impact by building machine learning products to optimize pricing and marketing investments and provide guidance to our sales organization.As a Platform Support Engineer, you will be part of out platform team focusing on L1 troubleshooting, problem remediation, and root cause analysis for all assigned cases. This role requires a high degree of independence, ownership, and responsibility for customer success.We offer an international experience, collaborative culture, top rate experience in AI and ML and opportunity to create significant real-world impact.What you will do Monitor the system infrastructure health using existing tools, investigate and resolve technical issues.Perform regular system maintenance backups, upgrades audits.Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer issues / requirements and come up with solutions.Improve engineering culture, standards, tooling, documentation and processes.Act as first level of support for platform users and perform root cause analysis for technical issues.Put together and maintain user documentation, training materials, troubleshooting guides and deliver user trainings.Manage user access permissions and maintenance, security permissions, group policies.Manage support cases to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and follow-ups are completed in a timely manner. What you will need:Bachelor’s in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field3+ years on a similar role.You have strong problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.Knowledge of working with Jira and Jira Service Desk is welcomed.Proficient to code using technologies like Python, SQLUnderstanding of generic concepts of Big Data technologies is an advantage.
