Executive Recruiter, APJ RegionDescription -The team’s leading mission is to drive high-quality-of-hire, recruiting of executive talent who will excel across the Company. Armed with a standardized set of HP leadership attributes that augment each executive role description, the Executive Talent Acquisition team ensures common and repeatable hiring standards. This is mostly done end-to-end by the Executive Recruiter.  On some selective occasions, it is augmented by efforts from carefully selected and trained global search/research partners from our preferred supplier lists.Operating as an individual contributor, you will build relationships with senior business and HR stakeholders to identify, plan and implement recruiting projects that drive high-quality-of-hire within pre-agreed project parameters such as cost-per-hire, time-to-fill, etc.Aligned with these stakeholders you’ll direct-source; seek referrals, qualify candidates via HP jobsite and others, or outsource (via search firm) all executive openings assigned to you, maintaining responsibility for fulfillment using these available channels. You’ll explore as a first choice in all cases direct source channels — such as personal networking, networking, and employee/alliance partner/business leader referrals —before seeking approvals on engaging external research or search firms to recruit appropriate talent supporting HP’s corporate strategy. You’ll select and hire high-quality executive talent not just for current open roles but for the long-term benefit of the company.  Finally you’ll proactively build and nurture relationships with external stakeholders such as referrals, prospects, candidates and search firm partners,What an Executive Recruiter, APJ Region does at HP:Source, select and recruit for large corporate Director- and Vice President-level roles across Asia Pacific Japan.Communicate at all levels within the organization, adopting a style that reaches different audiences.Build strategic levels relationships that fosters trust and where people seek out your expertise and experience.Source and qualify a wide variety of skills in commercial roles, technical management roles, support roles and general management roles.Adopt and drive strong processes throughout the E2E search life cycle.Take ownership, driving for results and making things happenConsult, partner with, influence, and advise senior executives; manage senior executive relationships.Lead and drive concurrent multiple projects in a highly matrixed and complex organization.Work in a fast-paced environment.Engage and manage external search firms. Planning and PartneringProactively engage in HR and business conversations to understand their strategic plans, uncover executive talent gaps, themes or needs that affect executive talent acquisitionDevise, socialize, and execute on talent acquisition strategies for business needsPartner across HR for end-to-end client satisfaction in the recruiting processSourcing Proactively develop and execute candidate-generation strategies using all available recruiting toolsBuild diverse candidate pipelines, including various diversity typesProactively identify, build relationships with and recruit passive external candidates via cold calls; conferences; networking events; or other networks Qualifying and Pre-Screening Candidates  Effectively represent and market the HP employment brand, the organization's business objectives and global career opportunities to potential candidatesFollow HP’s consistent process and best practices for selecting the highest quality candidates; use refined probing techniques to elicit informationSupport and facilitate candidates through the interview processes for each mandateReadily identify and address objections; assess when to pursue or withdrawSummarize candidate's strengths and needs relative to role and to an HP careerManaging Candidates & Offers Create a stellar candidate experience: identify and anticipate candidate's needs; follow issues to closure; collaborate across the HP (relocations, immigration, compensation, etc.) to maximize candidate satisfaction; but work for HP’s best interestsCollaborate with hiring manager and business HR to create and deliver a comprehensive, compelling and balanced offer ; differentiate HP’s offer from othersDemonstrate in-depth awareness of employment laws and regulations; know when to engage legal or employee relations colleagues for supportBuild long-term candidate relationshipsIndividuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:Previous in-house executive recruiting experience advantageous.In-depth knowledge of commercial IT (software, hardware and services).BA/BS degree in business, communications, human resources or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience.10+ years of related business experience, especially in senior candidate level conversations, and leadership hire situationsMinimum of 5+ years of Executive Recruiting or Search experience.Competencies and AttributesBusiness maturity and gravitas: assertive but fair;
