In the digital ecommerce space, it is critical that HP and our retail and commercial partners are driving innovation and best practices for HP products by optimizing digital marketing and the online shopping experience across the ‘digital shelf’. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Media Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our marketing and sales efforts, collaborating with various internal teams to develop and execute data-driven retail media strategies that drive sales and elevate our brand.Core Responsibilities The Retail Media Strategist plays a pivotal role in creating and implementing retail media strategies that align with our category priorities. You will work closely with our internal marketing, sales, and media teams to optimize budget allocation, define KPIs, and ensure that our retail media initiatives support our key business objectives.Strategy Development:Collaborate with category managers and internal stakeholders to understand key priorities and business goals.Develop comprehensive retail media strategies that align with category objectives and target audience.Budget Management:Determine the optimal budget allocation for retail media campaigns, balancing efficiency and effectiveness.Monitor and manage budget utilization across campaigns.KPI Definition:Establish clear key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with category objectives.Continuously measure and analyze campaign performance against KPIs.Media Mix Optimization:Assess various media channels (online and offline) to determine the most effective mix for reaching the target audience.Collaborate with the media team to execute campaigns across multiple channels.Data Analysis:Utilize data and analytics to make data-driven decisions and recommendations for optimizing retail media strategies.Provide regular reports and insights on the performance of retail media campaigns.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with marketing, sales, and category teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of retail media strategies.Communicate strategies, progress, and results to internal teams and stakeholders.Trends and Industry Research:Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in retail media.Apply industry knowledge to enhance and evolve retail media strategies.Education and Experience Required: BA or BS in Marketing, Consulting, Analytics or related field; MBA preferred. 7+ years’ experience in digital retail mediaExperience using search engine marketing, retail media platforms, social media marketing, display advertising (Amazon, Walmart, Criteo, CitrusAd)Knowledge and Skills: Proven success driving data driven recommendations and action In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to present results of complex analysis compellingly to both technical and non-technical audiences at executive levelStrong interpersonal and project management skills; ability to collaborate with virtual teams Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management and functional disciplines Strong ability to influence and drive organizational changeOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $89,200.00 -- $137,400.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
