We apply new thinking and ideas to create simpler, more valuable and trusted experiences with technology, continuously improving the way our customers live and work.Position backgroundIn the GTM advance analytics COE our mission is to deliver impact by building machine learning products to optimize pricing and marketing investments and provide guidance to our sales organization.As a data engineer, you will focus on three areas data pipelines, SQL databases and excel reports. For these areas you will contribute on monitoring, maintenance and enhancements activities which will ensure that our stakeholders are always receiving data within the agreed SLA. You will also offer support to the users of our solutions on common issues they face.We offer an international experience, collaborative culture, top rate experience in AI and ML and opportunity to create significant real-world impact.What you will do Participate in analyzing requirements and high-level designs.Implement, test, and maintain software modules/data pipelines.Participate in code reviews.Give input to management on task duration estimates, technical information, and issue resolution.Develop processes for data modeling, mining, and reporting.Investigate and resolve technical issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams inside and cross organization to establish data connections.Maintain and enhance Excel reports.What you will need:2+ years in a similar role.Experience with source control management systems such as Git.Experience working in an Agile software development environment.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.Strong skills on SQL databases (SQL Server is preferred)Advanced Excel skills.Nice to haveProficient to code using technologies like Python, C#, VBA.Experience developing dashboards on PowerBI.Experience with PowerShellWho We AreAt HP, we believe in the power of ideas.
