Strategic Alliances Technical Alliance ManagerDescription -Join the high impact, high visibility Alliances Team for Personal Systems - a $37B business within an innovative Fortune 100 company. This team sets and aligns the organization on the Personal Systems (PS) Alliance partner strategy and works across the organization to operationalize the strategy while working very closely with executives and the businesses to turn insights into strategy, actions and results. In this role, you will work side by side with product planning and business teams across HP to help understand, identify and define key technology opportunities for HP in collaboration with our partner, mostly related to ARM PCs (Qualcomm silicon), NPU/AI acceleration technology, AI PCs (TOPS) and related AI-powered use cases and GTM activities.This role is expected to be based in San Diego, California, USAWhat you would be doing:Facilitates and/or leads technical engagement with selected partners (Qualcomm) to support partners’ technology, product and solution development.Develop a strategy for joint technology initiatives encompassing product integrations, a robust QA process of joint solutions, processes for joint troubleshooting of issues, in order to meet business objectives with clear goals and an execution plan.Identifies opportunities for process improvement and leads/develops recommendations and provides insight for management.Leads fast innovation sprints to validate if the tech idea can deliver high differentiated experience and to ensure there is a profitable business model for both HP and partner.Develops business cases and recommendations to unlock new and/or accelerate growth, enabling win-win for HP and PartnersCollaborates with internal and external partners to assess market direction, industry trends, and headwinds to align on overall future supply demands.Develop and implement metrics to measure the success of the partnership.Serve as the main technical point of contact for Qualcomm across the portfolio.Education and Experience Required:BA or BS in Computer Science or related field; MBA/Masters preferred8-10 years (minimum) experience in relevant field; technology initiatives, product management/planning, technology consultingFormer strategic partnership/alliances experience is a plus. Strong understanding of AI PC, ARM PC compute technologies, as well as understanding of the mechanics of the semiconductor industryKnowledge and SkillsStrategic Initiatives Planning & Implementation: Orchestrates the development of strategic plans that reflect technical solution, technology assets and SW or HW development work needed. Capability to combine technology opportunity with business strategy to advance market share/penetration and achieve profitable growth.Problem Solving: Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that ensures comprehensive understanding and effective resolution; leverages data-driven-insight approachOutstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional advanced solutions, as well as incorporating those into product/solution planningSkills to understand customer insights and workflows, and connect the dots to technology or strategic opportunities Experience and ability to engage and work with global stakeholders and teamsExcellent written and verbal communication and analytical skillsExcellent negotiating, influencing, consensus- building and conflict- resolution skills.Familiarity with HP Personal Systems product portfolios and technologies.Solid knowledge of Qualcomm (inc.
