We are a global company with a startup feel.Role Overview:We are looking for a talented research leader, writer, editor, and content strategist with demonstrated achievement in developing thought leadership through in-depth research and data analysis. Ultimately, your mission is to educate and inspire our buyers, partners, and internal stakeholders with content that positions Genesys as an innovative thought leader.This individual needs to be a strategic and influential leader with a background in guiding high-performing teams and in research and content. You’ll develop a strategic roadmap for thought leadership, lead internal and external research collaborations, produce innovative content and actionable insights, and represent the company as a trusted authority on the future of the industry.You will need deep expertise in primary research and survey design, curiosity to answer the toughest questions facing our industry, and great instincts about the trends that will resonate with our audience. You’ll need to be great on stage and persuasive with big ideas.Responsibilities:Develop Thought Leadership strategy. Develop and implement Thought Leadership goals and strategies that deliver on company and marketing goals. Think big about partnerships and ground-breaking collaborations that will position Genesys as an innovation leader. Align key stakeholders around the thought leadership strategy.Lead original research. Develop primary and secondary research programs to uncover unique, provocative insights. Partner with the best in the industry and push the boundaries for quality and depth of content.Craft thought-provoking content. Author white papers, articles, presentations, podcasts, biweekly newsletters, and a range of other content. Showcase our expertise. Engage with internal and external subject matter experts to develop a clear point-of-view and educate our audience.Amplify our authority. Represent the company with an authoritative ‘outside-in’ perspective in webinars, at industry events, and on our social media channels. Enable sales and marketing teams with companion content and tailored insights for key regions and industry verticals.Collaborate and champion teamwork. Partner with internal content, campaigns, PMO, design, and product marketing teams to ensure thought leadership is part of marketing campaigns.Measure and optimize. Measure the impact of Thought Leadership and make data-driven improvements to boost the effectiveness of Thought Leadership content and programs.Empower and develop. Engage and empower team members to excel. Guide and mentor. Listen and learn. Be in a growth mindset. Create the fun.Qualifications10+ years of relevant experience (Market research, Advisory services, Content Marketing) ideally in Contact Center, Customer Service, or other related technology.Impeccable written communication skills and excellent presentation skills.Exceptional research and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear and engaging content.Experience collaborating with subject matter experts, executives, and cross-functional teams.Proficiency in data analysis and content performance measurement tools.Bachelor's degree in journalism, business, communications, marketing, or equivalent skill set.Willing to travel 10%Compensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
