Your potential is waiting; why are you?Director, Sales (Australia & New Zealand)The Director of Sales is a hands-on leader who develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximises needs to drive revenue for the entire Genesys suite of products through managing direct sales in the Central Sales organisation in both existing and net new accounts.What You’ll Do: The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to).Manages and develops a team of regional sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Genesys sales processSupporting AEs by participating and leading in customer meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required to maximise opportunities and deliver value to our customers and prospectsInvests heavily in each AE’s development and opportunities serving as their key mentorDevelop a strong, supportive, positive team cultureSells and promotes the sales of Genesys products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the saleParticipates in strategic and tactical planning for the divisionConsistently monitoring and enhancing the sales activities of the teamConducting weekly revenue forecast meetings for respective territories and delivering monthly resultsConducts weekly progress meetings and all hands with sales teamDevelops and executes a territory plan to maximize revenueAssists in the development of short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectivesRegularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure objectives are metAbility to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations importantYou’ve been there and done this…Proven track record of consistent over achievement of quotas, targets and key metrics6-10 years of sales management experience within technology industry.Ability to hire and train new sales representatives.Be a "High Energy", results-oriented achiever and a team player willing to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.Demonstrated track record in software sales.Excellent verbal and written communications skills: produce materials, deliver presentations, and perform general education.Ability to represent the company at senior executive levels.Able to develop proposals and manage the sales cycle with minimum supervision while providing regular updated on progress and challenges.Demonstrated leadership skillsThe willingness to travelBachelor’s degreeDesirable SkillsExcellent verbal and written communications skills: produce materials, deliver presentations, and perform general education.Ability to represent the company at senior executive levels.Able to develop proposals and manage the sales cycle with minimum supervision while providing regular updated on progress and challenges.Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead teams of 5 or more AEsProven track record of success as an individual contributor leading and winning 7+ figure deals with net new logosThe willingness to travel 50%+Please note that Genesys will not accept resumes from agencies at this time.To be eligible to apply for this role you must have work rights in Australia.#LI-JM1#LI-HybridIf a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.About Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
