Your potential is waiting; why are you?Account Director (FSI Industry)As an Account Director within our FSI vertical here at Genesys, you will have the opportunity to grow new business, enhance current client experiences, and develop a go-to-market strategy for our fastest-growing industry.Responsible for driving and delivering the sales, revenue and growth objectives for Genesys, you will be recognised for strong expertise in subject matter issues within the CX, Digital and AI technology space, as well as the benefits that can be delivered through specific applications delivered by Genesys and its partner eco-system.The FSI Industry Lead/Account Director works with key stakeholders within both customer and partner businesses, as well as orchestrates the Genesys cross functional teams, including services leads, solutions consultants and business consultants to develop commercial solutions and offerings for the FSI vertical.This may be through direct or indirect customer engagement, and include the development of proposals, business cases, statement of works (SoW’s) and other supporting documents.What You’ll Do: The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to).The key duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:Establish and build strong peer relationships within the FSI Industry, including customers, consultants, alliances, and partners.Work under a POD based team structure within Genesys with strong collaboration skillsDrive and achieve sales performance, with particular emphasis around Cloud CX solutions that incorporates both contact centre, digital transformation and Professional Services.Consistently achieve Genesys targets (Plan) and KPI’s across all performance measurementsEffectively lead and guide aligned teams to identify specific solution opportunities, through solution definition and design, to propose and close.Developing and maintaining a strong qualified pipeline of incremental opportunities in relation to Cloud CX, Digital and AI, as well as and professional services to exceed sales objectivesDriving aligned cross functional teams (PODs) to develop and implement effective sales plans and strategies to meet customer needsCoach and encourage the use of ‘value’ and ‘insight based’ selling techniques that results in a tangible return on investment for the solution provided.Grow and retain existing customer accounts by presenting new solutions and services around Cloud CX, digital, AI and professional services propositions.Maintain suitable activity requirements i.e. Research, Planning, customer appointments, etc. in order to meet and exceed financial objectives.Provide input and review sales pipelines within the POD, to ensure a consolidated and accurate forecast on a weekly and monthly basis.Maintain accuracy of information within the Genesys CRM (SFDC), including but not limited to; customer information, contact details, opportunity details, activities, account team members, customer segments, account plans, industry plans and other relevant information.Support the development of account and industry plans as required for nominated customersOrchestrate cross-functional resources and teams in order to build solutions and proposals that create value for the customer, our partners and Genesys.Plan approaches and presentations – Identify and recommend appropriate solutions based on specific customer business requirements and objectivesEnsure all pricing expectations are maintained and only approved pricing is released to customersMaintaining relevant industry and solution knowledge that will facilitate a relevant and meaningful conversation with customer stakeholdersEstablish multi-tier peer relationships and engagement within the customerAttending all necessary training sessions provided by Genesys as requiredOther duties as assigned from time to timeYou’ve been there and done this…Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing and/or IT preferred but not essential10+ years’ experience and proven track record in selling into the FSI IndustryExperience selling complex cloud or SaaS based solutionsExposure to managing multiple stakeholders through a complex sales processExperience in selling and developing customer solutions and business cases in the areas of Customer Experience and/or Digital transformationProven track record of exceeding quota and key performance metrics.Demonstrated ability to continually source and follow-up new business and implement effective referral mechanismsDemonstrated capacity to consistently deliver a high level of service to all customers and maintain customer relationshipsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain positive relations with cross functional team members in the PODDemonstrated ability and willingness to up skill in product knowledge, preferably in relation to CX and digital technologiesSound knowledge of the cloud and SaaS business modelsExceptional interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills to engage customers at all levelsHigh level of business and commercial acumenEffective communication skills – both written and oralExcellent organisational skills and ability to prioritiseDemonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executivesStrong organisational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritise well in a fast paced, dynamic work environmentStrong presentation, verbal and written skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts simply and effectively to cross functional audiences.Please note that Genesys will not accept resumes from agencies at this time.To be eligible to apply for this role you must have work rights in Australia.#LI-JM1#LI-HybridIf a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.About Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
