Your potential is waiting; why are you?Summary of PositionWe are looking for a passionate Sr. Principal Value Consultant who can express the business value of Genesys solutions to customers in North America.The successful candidate is a strategic partner to Marketing, Sales and Customer Success organizations, both internally and from partners, who works closely with account teams, business consultants, solution strategists, product managers and sales leadership to turn data into information, information into insight and insight that will influence business decisions. The Value Consultant is a strategic role which combines competencies in business metrics, data acquisition, and customer engagement industry experience.  This role supports account teams on high-profile engagements, facilitates executive meetings, trains and educates sales force.ResponsibilitiesValue ConsultingWork closely with go-to-customer teams to identify, prioritize and analyze key business value drivers, key influencers, and understand how our solutions will help solve those problems.Build ROI and TCO models to quantify the value of deploying Genesys solutions and support high quality business cases presented to customers.Collaborate in the construction and deployment of sales and marketing tools.Create and deliver executive level presentations, and support account teams in complex, high-profile customer engagements.Periodically review engagements and recommend creative tools and approaches to assist in targeting buyers, influencers, and purchasers in target market segments.Data JunkieInterpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.Compile benchmark database on pre-engagement and post-engagement metrics and re-purpose such data to support the field.Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Requirements  10+ years of work experience, ideally in business consulting, value consulting or analytical role in a complex selling environment.Excellent quantitative and business modeling skills as well as ability to effectively present and communicate insights and recommendations in support of value discovery, design, delivery and realization.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to analyze complex business models, understand its economics and produce compelling transformation business cases.Experience supporting technology investments (buy/sell, how to make profitable)Proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.Must be a self-starter, creative, high energy with the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team.Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniquesKnowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasetsProficiency in written and spoken English, Spanish and Portuguese.Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills.Moderate travel required.Compensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
