Your potential is waiting; why are you?We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Experience professional to join our sales force as a Sales Director for the UK and Ireland, based in Kingscross, London.The Sales Director is an integral part of ensuring Genesys achieves revenue targets. As the Enterprise Sales Director for Finance and Insurance Sector, you are responsible for managing a team of Account Directors, and you will focus on driving revenue (hyper-)growth and bringing in net new business from our largest prospects and current customers.You ensure your team of Account Directors is solving the business needs of prospects, customers, and partners, and you are responsible for all coaching and developing the talent within your team. This is also achieved through the support of additional resources - such as Channel Managers, Sales Development Reps, Solution and Business Consultants, Marketing, Strategic Business Consulting, Professional Services, Customer- and Partner Success Managers – whose goal is to help your team close deals.We are passionate about Customer Experience as a Service, and our solutions pivot around improving both the customer and employee journey with Cloud solutions, and we expect our staff to share this passion and it should be evident at every opportunity in a sales engagement.The Strategic Value Of The RoleDevelop and manage sales talent while achieving overall team quota to drive revenue for Genesys:Drive incremental bookings with the Enterprise Customers and ProspectsImproving talent within the sales team by providing individual coaching, training and feedbackSupport the expansion of the Genesys footprint within current customer accounts through cross-selling and up-sell opportunitiesProvide management with necessary insight into the field sales team with suggestions and recommendations for ways to improve performanceEnsure alignment with the rest of the wider Genesys team supporting Genesys and partner ecosystemKey ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):Train, develop, and coach sales talent to world-class statusIdentify customer needs and effectively illustrate to the team the need to understand and respond to perceived customer risksEnable sales reps to connect client's business objectives with Genesys offerings and solutionsProvide best practice guidance around how to negotiate and close as many sales campaigns as possibleProvide expertise around particular areas of interest to discuss industry best practices and development of high-level strategiesEffectively manage a team that sells the Genesys portfolio of products across a wide range of industriesEnable the sales rep to assist the customer in maximizing the return of their investment with GenesysBuild and expand relationships with Economic Buyer in prospect and customer accounts, where necessaryHelp your direct reports establish themselves as a 'Trusted Advisor' to the prospect or customerBring net new and innovative ideas to direct reports to share with the customerAssist in creating an environment of teamwork and continuous improvementFurther, develop and manage a few of the most strategic accounts in the regionDemonstrate a commitment to excellence (i.e. strong business acumen)Minimum RequirementsA profound understanding of the financial and insurance industry in the UK, experience in field selling in financial services and an existing network in FSI in the UKSuperior active listening skillsExcellent training and development skillsExcellent objection handling and negotiating abilitiesStrong collaboration skills and ability to manage multiple team membersStrong time-management and organization skillsAbility to multi-task and manage multiple streams of work simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively communicate with internal stakeholdersHighly persuasiveProven record of managing teams that meet/exceed established goalsAbility to communicate and present to Genesys management as requiredAt least 7+ years previous business-to-business experience in one or more of the following areas with a documented track record of success:Senior Enterprise Account ExecutiveSales ManagementComplex and Consultative Sales EnvironmentExperience in the Enterprise software or Customer Relationship Management industry, selling Software as a ServiceInternational business development experience(s)Experience selling with and through reseller partners#LI-Hybrid #LI-IM1If a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.About Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
