Your potential is waiting; why are you?Summary:Genesys is looking for an experienced, dynamic, results-focused Strategic Marketing Manager, who is responsible for the global marketing relationship with one of our strategic partners, Salesforce.com. This person will be responsible for developing the global marketing content and programs that elevate our brand and drive demand together with Salesforce.com for our recently announced joint solution.This individual contributor role calls for experience in developing and executing global joint marketing programs featuring a digital marketing mix, working within a cross-functional team to deliver programs and campaigns that support both business and growth GTM objectives, and drive measurable results. This role reports to the Head of Global Partner Marketing and will work with key stakeholders within the Salesforce and Genesys sales and marketing teams.Key Responsibilities:The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):Defining and executing integrated and strategic marketing programs from start to finish with Salesforce as part of the broader partner business plan.Identify and evaluate marketing opportunities that will support the joint sales goals. Build a joint marketing plan and budget.Develop and manage project plans to meet program timelines and objectives.Collaborate with marketing cross-functional team members internally and externally to create content, campaign materials, case studies, and other resources that can be used by region marketing teams to drive awareness and demand locally. Work together with the marketing leads for our Global System Integrator (GSI) partners to create compelling go-to-market programs around the Genesys-Salesforce joint solution. Keep Salesforce and Genesys sales and marketing teams up to date on key initiatives and program results.Represent the global partner marketing team on working calls internally and with Salesforce.com. Debrief marketing leaders on project status, key tasks, next steps, etc.Manage administrative tasks related to programs including program performance tracking and reporting, MDF funds tracking, etc.Drive and implement program improvements such as recommending new and creative tactics, and/or process changes.Qualifications:Proven marketing skills with strong business acumen and passion for creating and driving integrated go-to-market programs informed by data and analysis.Business Analyst (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing or related field; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.10+ years’ experience in marketing with an emphasis in campaigns, industry, and/or partner marketing. Prior high technology sales or marketing experience working with Salesforce.com strongly preferred.Understanding of B2B marketing, account-based marketing, campaign journeys and content mapping required.Prior success deploying demand generation marketing programs with technology partners on time and on budget.Experience with the Salesforce.com platform as well as marketing automation and PRM platforms required.Excellent organization, communication, and planning skills. Prior experience with project management/collaboration software like Asana, Microsoft Teams desired.Proactive, self-motivated, and responsive to partners’ marketing needsPartners effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work flexible times to accommodate various time zones.Ability to speak multiple languages is an advantage.Compensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
