Your potential is waiting; why are you?Sr. Manager, North America Strategic CollectionsGenesys Strategic Finance is seeking a talented individual to oversee North America Strategic Account Collections. The Sr. Manager, NA Strategic Collections will report to the Sr. Director, Credit and Collections and will regularly interact with team management on collections strategy, planning, and operational execution.  He or she will be responsible for driving collections performance on our high value North America strategic accounts and will be located in/near Indianapolis, Indiana (or ability to work core operating hours of EST daily, with quarterly travels to our Indiana office will be considered).Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:Liaise with customers and partners to ensure timely collectionsMake sound decisions that consider customer relationship while balancing the needs of the collections team and timely receipt of paymentProduce and update cash forecast as requested by Sr. Director, Credit and CollectionsDevelop and implement collection strategies by leveraging industry experience, peer network and benchmarking avenues.  Ensure adherence to Collections policies and procedures in compliance with all regulations and standardsProvide critical financial and operational information and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.Manage risk and drive decrease in DSO/Past due % and measure progress in both.  Review and establish effective action plans to mitigate collection risksPrepare monthly management and productivity reports and schedulesManage, drive, and track goal achievement for the teamParticipate in strategic projects to support business goalsStrong communication and presentation skillsEvaluate existing systems/processes to reduce complexity and increase process standardization efficiencyCollaborate with multiple levels of management and various business segments including Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Revenue, Marketing and Information Technology.   Ability to effectively select, develop, coach, empower and motivate the team to ensure growth in their scope of responsibility and accountability for operational excellenceEnsure direct collaboration with Global RegionsKey Requirements:10+ years in collections role with expanding responsibilities over time, managing multi-million-dollar collections volumeCollections experience from Technology industry (Software industry is highly preferred)Management experience in leading teamsExperience with NetSuite and SalesforceSkilled at identifying ways to enhance cash flowDesired Characteristics:Continuous improvement mindsetDeveloping capability and inspiring accountabilityCross-boundary collaborationAbility to motivate team and drive performanceExcellent communication and negotiate skillsAbility to balance competing priorities with insight into overall impact to Genesys#LI-DJ1#LI-HybridCompensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
