Your potential is waiting; why are you?Location: RemoteSummary:We have an exciting role for an Education Services Sales Manager – The Americas to join our Beyond team. This role will focus on executing sales strategies and programs requiring proven business development, market intelligence and solutions selling experience maximizing bookings, revenue, and profitability for Genesys Beyond Offerings. We expect this person to have a history of managing high performing sales groups, establishing key metrics and score cards, and tracking progress.This position will be closely working together with our Product Sales and Pre-sales teams to define regional and vertical-oriented business development plans, create and maintain key relationships and negotiate and close business deals. This position will have quarterly financial individual and team targets (bookings and project profitability) that must be met in order for the organization to attain projected revenue.While the role is not a Technical one, a good understanding of Contact Centre business or SaaS is required, ideally including experience of Cloud based solutions.Interviewees, should be prepared to discuss how you will add value, define strategies, increase velocity, and overcome adversity. In this individual and team quota-carrying role, we will want to learn more about your sales targets and how you have performed against them and how your skills will transfer to Genesys.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for exceeding quarterly booking targets, including negotiating, and closing opportunities individually and with the greater selling teams.Creates and drives revenue within a specified region or list of named accounts by developing strategic account plans and sales proposals with clearly identified selling opportunities that drive booking attainment and client adoption.Effectively leads regional teams and provide corrective actions and development plans when performance is below expectations.Build confidence & trust with prospects, customers, partners, account executives, direct reports for continuous improvement and booking performance.Leverage customer data and insights, collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve our offerings, ensuring maximum value delivery to our customers.Effectively utilizes and maintains CRM including the maintenance and expansion of your prospect database, opportunities and activities.Provides regular individual and team forecasts to leader of current and pipeline opportunities.Contribute to strategic and tactical planning for Beyond Learning.Qualifications we're looking for:           5-7+ years’ experience in Direct Sales and/or High Touch sales in IT/Tech industry, education sales a plus. 2+ years’ experience in managing direct reports and leading teams.A coachable leader, who is willing and able to provide and accept constructive feedback.Consultative, Solution-selling experience (vs. product-centric sales) required.Superb organizational skills and with a history outlining and establishing sales strategies.Strong statement of work, business strategy, presentation skills in a fast paced, global environment.Demonstrated sophisticated skills in business modelling and valuation.Excellent ability to build relationships - internally and externally.Able to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.Spanish or Portuguese language a plus.#LI-REMOTECompensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
