It’s about impact, not location.As a Senior Global Sourcing Analyst you will be working with the broader Product Operations team and leadership to analyze spending and savings analysis, impact of demand forecasting changes, cost analysis, sourcing data to systems, and sourcing trends analysis. You will need to be comfortable working with cross functional teams in using your analytical skills to develop/maintain/improve sourcing data. You will also need to be passionate about building data sets to drive sourcing decisions. What You'll Do:Become a data expert at sourcing department of SonosWork with GSM members, material planners, finance, and other x-functional teams to connect the data amongst sourcing department, contract manufactures and systemsAnalysis of spending and savings Analysis of cost trends Analysis of sourcing related data activities Develop, maintain and improve sourcing data to drive sourcing decisions Find opportunities and drive improvements to supply chain systems What You'll NeedResearch shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria. If you don’t have 100% of the skills listed, we strongly encourage you to apply if interested.Basic Qualifications:BS/BA degree in finance/accounting8+ years work experience Extensive experience in analyzing large data sets and conducting ad hoc analysis Adept at merging data from a different sources in order to get the conclusion through analysis Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent English communication skills (Verbal and Written) Detail oriented, strong analytical skillsAbility to work in multinational environments  Proven experience in working closely with both internal and external customers Ability to communicate with execs/leaders Preferred Qualifications:MBA is preferred  Experience in data management/analysis Experience in supply chain management is a plus Experience in consumer electronics industryAny procurement system experience is a plus such as Tableau, Arena, MicrostrategyUnderstanding of product cost (or cost of goods manufactured) is preferred #LI-RemoteAt Sonos we consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may lead  individual compensation to vary depending on job related qualifications, skills, and experience.  All full time employees are eligible for merit increases, discretionary bonuses, and equity.  Our job postings may span more than one career level and the base pay range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions.
