The Trades represent a significant growth opportunity within our Installed Solutions business, and the right candidate will be able to leverage both direct relationships and existing partnerships to bring that opportunity to life.What You’ll Do:The primary role of the Key Account Manager, Builder Channel is to identify, develop, maintain, and leverage partnerships that support new household growth and standardization of Sonos in homes. These partnerships include key builders in the US and Canada, as well as a subset of existing or prospective Sonos dealers and distribution partners who focus on supporting national and regional builders. The goal of this role is to significantly grow our business in the Residential New Construction segment by leveraging our existing sales program, and also to help refine the way we work with builders, developers, and remodelers over time as key audiences supporting the Installed Solutions channel.Key Responsibilities:Drive revenue growth in the Residential New Construction industry.Account management of existing integration firms focused on builders (direct Sonos dealers) as well as the acquisition of new dealers who are not currently working with Sonos.Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders representing both national and regional builders.Collaborate with our Finance and Marketing teams to enhance our Builder program offerings to suit the needs of the segment and focus on standardization opportunities.Act as the Subject Matter Expert on the single-family housing market, reporting back to business stakeholders on industry forecasts and trends that will impact our go-to-market approach.Quantify opportunities for planning and forecasting the business and prioritize your efforts based on identifying lift versus impact.Monitor channel performance and report progress on a monthly and quarterly basis. Keep the business informed of where we are in long-term opportunity work and appropriately identify the current phase of these sales cycles.Work closely with our internal teams to help prioritize partners focused on builders in complementary electronics categories, such as HVAC, Security, and Appliances.Act as the representative of Sonos at trade shows focused on builders, such as IBS/KBIS, JLC Live, PCBC, and TecHome.What You'll Need:Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria. If you don’t have 100% of the skills listed, we strongly encourage you to apply if interested.Basic Qualifications:5+ years of experience in builder channel sales.10+ years of sales experience in any field.Deep understanding of the key motivators and factors influencing modern builders.Comprehensive knowledge of building forecasts and common indexes, such as the US Census’ Residential New Construction Report, NAHB, Housing Market Index (HMI), and JCHS LIRA.Preferred Qualifications:Existing network of contacts in the national and large-scale regional builder industry.Experience working with trade-adjacent businesses, such as custom installation professionals or electricians.Proven track record of negotiating builder programs focused on product standardization.At Sonos we consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may lead individual compensation to vary depending on job related qualifications, skills, and experience.
