The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating employee data, ensuring compliance with local tax and labour laws and providing excellent customer service to employees. You will need to work closely with HR teams across the regionals to ensure data are timely provided, support given to the HR teams for restructuring matters, providing guidance for payroll and people compliance, managing internal and external auditors. Being a team member of the Global HR Operations team, you will need to provide administrative support for benefits or HR related matters.Act as the first point of contact for all outsourced payroll providersCommunicate and manage all outsourced payroll providersManage end-to end payroll processing for Razer South East Asia offices working with outsourced payroll providers and managing in-house for Malaysia’s payroll to ensure accurate and timely payment of employeesPlan, coordinate and manage payroll across all supported countries and ensure that payroll cycles and deadlines at multiple locations are adhered to by all parties involved in the payroll cycleMaintain and update employee data in the in-house payroll system for MalaysiaPrepare monthly payroll, general ledger payroll entries and reports requested by Finance when necessary Ensure compliance with local tax and labour lawsPrepare and file required payroll reports, payroll journals and tax filingsAssist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and proceduresKeep abreast with payroll regulatory changes in and ensure compliance with the new regulationsResponse to employees’ queries in a timely mannerAct as the conduit for any employee queries that require input from payroll providersAct as the first point of contact for all HR and payroll related auditsAssisting in administrative support for benefits and HR related mattersPre-Requisites :A specialist with at least 3 to 4 years of regional payroll experience gained, preferably in a multi-country environmentPrior experience in handling payroll of South East Asia countries would be an advantageUp to date or has ability to learn quickly, payroll regulation across South East Asia countries where Razer has an employee baseExperience working with outsourced payroll providersGood general knowledge of employer and employee payroll obligationsDetailed-oriented with excellent organization skills and ability to multitaskAbility to work under pressure and independently and meet tight timelinesResourceful, independent, analytical and is self-driven with high degree of professional integrity with ability to handle confidential informationA team player and possess a customer-focused attitudeExcellent communication, interpersonal skills, confidence and maturity to interact effectively with employees of all levelsExperience working across different time zones and geographiesProficient in Microsoft excel and preferably Workday experienceAre you game?
