Broadcom’s Mainframe Software Division (MSD) is looking for a highly-skilled technical writer with experience writing for software in an Agile environment. Mainframe experience is desired, but it is not required. This position is responsible for leading others to create, curate, use, and deliver end-user technical documentation for high-tech IT audiences, which must be accurate and developed in an Agile team setting. Works as a member of the engineering scrum team and reporting to the documentation development organization, produces accurate technical content that complies with high quality standards and is appropriate to a mainframe IT audience.In-office attendance daily is required for this position as it is an agile team environment with in-person collaboration being a key mode. EducationBachelor's degree in English, Technical Communications, Computer Science, or global 4-year equivalent in a related field is REQUIRED for consideration. Work ExperienceTypically 5 or more years in an industry-related role. Typically has worked in technical communication, technical support, system administration, or product development type roles with heavy exposure to engineering.
