From on-prem to the cloud, companies can get the IT asset data needed to rightsize, reallocate spend, reduce risk and maximize ROI. As a member of the Global Content Operations team in Flexera you will be a key contributor to Managing, collecting, curating, researching, and validating customer discovered and market data that drives Flexera’s product portfolio, data platform and IT Visibility.  Data is the fuel that drives customer value against enterprise-wide technology assets and is key to bringing visibility to product normalization, license optimization, vulnerabilities, and open source.Flexera has built the largest and most comprehensive repository of market intelligence on technology assets on the planet. We connect decision-makers to the systems and information they need by enabling a common data language and view across their business, and will unite the software industry and strengthen the supply chain everyone depends upon.We are looking for an extraordinary Senior Manager who is organized, detail-oriented, and curious to be a key contributor to Flexera’s high-quality Asset Data business segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, investigating, and collecting data into a Content Database according to specific rules and procedures. He/she will also be tracking the latest information from the IT market and several other vertical markets and updating/maintaining a comprehensive reference catalog with the most up-to-date information.Responsibilities:Strategic Data Planning: A Data Architect can provide a strategic vision for our data infrastructure, aligning it with our business goals and objectives(data alignment, data efficiency and data effectiveness). He/She can help us identify opportunities for leveraging data to gain a competitive edge and drive growth (Both reactive vs pro-active)Data Integration and Management: With the ever-increasing volume(ITV customers and Flexera One customers) and variety of data(ITAM, ITSM, Vuln, Open source, Purchase order and any acquisitions), a Data Architect can ensure seamless integration and management of data from various sources, both internal and external. Also can establish robust data governance practices, ensuring data quality, security, and complianceScalability and Performance: As our data needs grow, it becomes critical to design systems that can handle increased data volumes while maintaining optimal performance. A Data Architect can design and implement scalable data solutions, ensuring our systems can handle future growth and evolving data requirementsCollaboration and Communication: A Data Architect acts as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders 9multiple engineering teams those who are consuming data from ARL SKU, PURL, Technopedia, One-Technopedia, and VT); effectively communicate complex technical concepts to the team and collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutionsDevelopment: Design, develop and deploy new features for Content engineering, as defined by the High-Quality Asset data business segment program’s goalsOperations: Define and manage the processes and tools that facilitate the program’s goalsMentoring: Mentor and guide team members on best practices, and recommended methods; function as a middleman between the stakeholders and teamTeam Enablement: Mentor other team members on Content design/architect and development of tooling frameworksDelivery against release plans: Research, Analyze and Develop new content packagesAdvise how data drives customer value, business use cases and decision makingIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data setsCreating tooling and systems for better maintenance and monitoring of the content servicesRequirements:Strong experience in data architecture design and implementation (5+ years of experience in data designing, architect, and data management)Proficiency in data modeling techniques and toolsKnowledge of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and data securityFamiliarity with various data storage and processing technologies, such as relational databases, data warehouses, big data platforms, and cloud-based solutionsUnderstanding of data integration techniques and experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processesAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersStrong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address data-related challengesKnowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in the data architecture spaceHiring, developing, and mentoring engineers, and managing the day-to-day activities of the Content team in an Agile (DAD/Lean/Kanban) environmentFirm understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM), software and hardware assemblies, version, edition, and release managementFamiliarity of software licensing including open source and vulnerabilities.Experience working with agile development (Lean, DAD, Scrum)Strong research skills, able to investigate, locate, and collect specific information quickly and accuratelyStrong reading comprehension skills, able to understand information found on web pages, product documentation, technical and marketing articles and extract specific content quickly and accuratelyFamiliar with ticketing tools such as Service Now, Salesforce and JIRAFlexera is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.  Qualified applicants will be considered for open roles regardless of age, ancestry, color, family or medical care leave, gender identity or expression, genetic information, marital status, medical condition, national origin, physical or mental disability, political affiliation, protected veteran status, race, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by local/national laws, policies and/or regulations. Flexera understands the value that results from employing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce.
