We are excited to add a highly motivated and experienced Director of Real Estate to join our Real Estate & Facilities Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of Clarivate's global leased footprint including: site selection, contract negotiation, lease administration, account management, and portfolio strategy. As a subject matter expert, you will partner with internal stakeholders to understand office space requirements and engage with external brokers and partners to execute those plans driving savings and ensuring a safe and effective workplace for our colleagues. This is a high-impact role that will help shape how and where our colleagues work in over 25 countries across the globe.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field7+ years of corporate real estate experience including lease administration, contract negotiation, project management, AND/OR transaction managementProven experience in leading portfolio strategies, collaborating with executive leadership teams to identify real estate requirements and developing/executing plans to meet those needsIt would be great if you also had…Familiarity with Oracle, NetSuite, and LeaseHarbor is a plusProven ability to translate business objectives into actionable recommendationsGlobal corporation experience highly preferredStrong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completionWhat will you be doing in this role?Partner closely with internal stakeholders and the executive leadership team on designing, planning, and executing a strategic vision and location strategy for the businessDevelop a strong partnership with the accounting, lease administration, and accounts payable teams to ensure the effective management, accounting, and tracking of our global space footprintCollaborate with legal and procurement teams to drive executable lease documents that mitigate risk while also maximizing the value of the space that we are procuringServe as a primary point of contact for landlords, assess the issues, research relevant lease clauses as applicable, provide solutions, and escalate as neededManage multiple lease projects simultaneously and coordinate with internal team members, consultants, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on-timeEnsure the proper billing and reconciliation of rent and CAM statements on a monthly basis for all leasesAbout the TeamThe Global Real Estate and Facilities team is made up of 40+ colleagues across 12 countries.
