We are seeking a Senior Event Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team at Clarivate! As a self-starter, you will strategize and execute the planning process for tradeshows and proprietary events using defined timelines and workflows, with clear deliverables, ROI, and action items for team members in sales, marketing, product and elsewhere within the organization. Exhibiting a strong professional presence and excellent interpersonal skills, you will partner with colleagues and external vendors to execute events based on agreed-upon goals and objectives. Utilizing your project management skills, you will have the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and changing environment. Given your experience, you will be capable of sharing best practices, knowledge and industry expertise with multi-level colleagues. Outstanding organizational skills are the key to success in this role, as you plan and manage event budgets, oversee venue/site selection, and negotiate contracts. Working as a vital member of the team, you will ensure all events are a planned component of larger strategic marketing campaigns, with aligned messaging, clear objectives and tracked metrics across events, marketing strategy and sales strategy. Displaying your creative side, you will work within marketing campaigns to promote event presence, integrate thought leadership, manage the creation of landing/registration pages, pre/post event emails, strategic invitation lists, branding, and promotional ideas in collaboration with marketing counterparts. What you need… Bachelor’s degree or equivalent University/College degree 7+ years of event marketing experience with an eagerness to learn and grow Experience planning events internationally (proprietary and tradeshows) Must have prior experience working in a large corporate setting Working knowledge of lead capture systems Working knowledge of virtual platforms Working knowledge of marketing automation systems Attention to detail across all event elements It would be great if you had… Prior experience working for a technology-oriented company Strong acumen with event platforms B2B event marketing experience within Legal Services industry preferred Experience using Salesforce and Eloqua systems an advantage Global marketing experience About the teamThis is a brand new role as part of our growth within the IP events market and will work closely alongside the Sr Events Marketing Manager covering the EMEA region reporting into the Senior Manager, Event Management who is based in the US.Work hoursFull time, permanent role on a hybrid basis 2 days' per week in the London office. Some travel involved.
