We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Academia and Government –Segment Sales division. This role will be remote working in France. This role will report to the Director, Segment Sales for West, South and North EMEA who manages a team of international colleagues within Europe. This is an amazing opportunity to manage the Clarivate Academia and Government revenue in France for a list of assigned accounts and territories. We have great experience in account management, and we would love to speak with you if you have experience with sales in the academia and/or government sector.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments At least 3 years in B2B sales in either new business development or account managementAt least 3 years’ experience selling into the government or academic sectorBachelor's degree in related field or at least 4 years of equivalent relevant experienceProficiency in written and spoken French and EnglishIt would be great if you also had . . . Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office packagesProficiency in additional languages is highly advantageousExperience with forecasting and reporting on key sales metricsKnowledge of formalized sales techniques and methodologies (i.e.: Challenger, Miller Heiman) relevant to the industryWhat will you be doing in this role?Owning. Own the assigned territory and individual account plan coordination, working closely with product specialists, trainers, and renewal teams to develop an overall account plan to grow long term revenue.Focusing. Focusing on new and renewal business as part of expanding the company's footprint within the account; typically serves as primary point to engage client.Leading. Leading content demonstrations, engaging product specialists as appropriate for product-specific demonstrations.Managing. Managing the overall health of the account; coordinating routine checkpoints, handling business reviews, participating in new product roadmap discussions, and engaging in client meetings. Ensuring account plan is making progress and is aligned to other objectives in the account.Ensuring. Ensuring client satisfaction and issues are resolved; relying on product specialists to drive specialty product issues and working with colleagues in customer services and technical supportAbout the Team This role will interact and work with a large team and functions such as with product sales managers, Renewal account manager, customer success consultant, presales consultant, regional marketing support, product managers and more. The internal colleagues will be working with are located across the EMEA regionThe Account manager will be part of the West South and North EMEA Academic and government Sales team reporting to the sales director responsible for that region,The team’s responsibility is to drive all new business and renewals for the Clarivate academics solutions and services including the research solutions such as Web Of Sciences, the library workflow SaaS solution such as Alma and all the Library contents such as ProQuest one Academic and the eBooks activities,The team culture is dynamic, customer focus, new business focused, working in team for success and multi-culturalHours of Work The teams you work with are primarily located in EMEA and US, and you may work with teams internationally located. This is a full-time permanent role.
