The Technology Consultant - Director, Consulting Technology is a key role within the practice providing experts guidance to both colleagues and existing/new customers. This expertise would extend to all vertical within the LS&HC Business of Clarivate Consulting.You will work directly with all our Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Academic, Govt, and non-profit customers using our gold-standard content, cloud-based R&D informatics resources, data science experts and world-class ontologies, and advanced analytics. The position requires the ability to consult through in real-time with customers to define and/or narrow problem statements and create action plans, collaborate with leaders across sales and product organizations, and centred around delivery high quality on-time value add projects.As a successful contributor in this role you will have 1) established technology solution strategies in all the vertical practices across both the Life Science R&D and Life Science market access that Clarivate operates within, 2) continued to expand the scalable infrastructure the team has already put in place to support rapid sales and revenue growth, and 3) optimized the ways in which the business development and sales teams work with the Consulting Technology practice to win business that aligns to the strategy.About you...BA/BS in Software, Engineering, or Technology.10 + years working in the Life Sciences industry and data analytics, as a leader in a Consulting practice serving Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Diagnostics customers10+ years of working experience and delivering successful projects and bespoke solutions within technology-based consulting or services business, preferably with international experienceIt would be great if you have...Advanced degree- MS/MPH/MBA/PhD Experience automating DevOps using Jenkins, Bitbucket, JIRA and/or other related tools.Experience managing software development projects using JIRA to manage Agile projects.What will you be doing in this role...Collaborate with consulting Leadership on strategy and growth capabilities to improve the performance and meet quarterly/annual business objectives set for the Consulting Technology practice.Support thought-leadership and market development by speaking at and contributing to pharmaceutical industry and technology conferences on Clarivate’s Life Science Enabling Technology case studies and evolving directions.Ensure the Consulting Technology strategy is aligned with technology industry-wide emerging trends to keep Clarivate leading and relevant at the forefront of technologies in data acquisition, content management, content search and discovery, data analytic technologies and cloud-based operations.Become a key contributor for the development of concept notes and proposals in support of Sales and other Life Science Consulting Practice Areas to represent the optimal solution to the customers need, with responsibility for proposal content, methodology, project plan, and collaborating with Commercial Services and Sales on the proposal pricing.Provide timely feedback to Practice Leadership and the Project Management Office in regardless to resource and project needs.Be accountable for aligned projects, milestones, and deliverables to ensure all customer agreements and delivery processes are efficient and optimized to meet or exceed customer expectations.Collaborate with the Life Science & Healthcare Group Quality organization on projects that require validation or IT compliance that requires compliance with Clarivate’s Quality Management System.At Clarivate, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons with respect to hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
