We are currently looking for software engineers to join our new Australia Payroll development teams.Workday is outstanding in that it builds enterprise software in the cloud on a single code line through a continuous development model allowing for rapid delivery of our software.The successful candidate will be passionate about building high quality enterprise applications and be innovative in their ideas from a technical and process point of view.About the RoleDesign, develop and deliver enterprise grade solutions.Design and develop an OO product using metadata-driven development environmentWrite and maintain SOLID, robust, efficient and maintainable code using an OO framework and toolsWrite reliable unit, integration, and system level tests that will run on our CD pipeline.Mentor and learn from other team members through pairing, code reviews, knowledge shares, hackathons, etc.Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive technical initiatives.About YouBasic Qualifications5+ years of experience with software development.3+ years of experience in programming utilizing one or more of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Javascript, C#, Typescript or React. Other QualificationsExperience with XpressO a plus.Experience in the Payroll product domain a plus.Experience with integration technologies.Demonstrated ability developing performant, scalable and resilient applications.Highly collaborative with colleagues across various functions and experience levels.Passionate about agile software development.Strong understanding of the value of automated tests at all levels of the testing pyramid.Possess a strong desire to learn and continuously improve your craft.Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
