We take pride in enabling data driven business outcomes to mobilize Workday’s growth through trusted data excellence, innovation and architecture thought leadership. The team's key objective is to empower data engineers, statisticians, data scientists, and various business partners by building scalable data platforms, tooling/reusable frameworks, data quality and anomaly detection framework to fuel potential, reducing decision latency using self-service architecture in cloud environments.Data platform will be the central data repository with various data domain assets of decision-making process through self-service dashboards, domain specific ad-hoc self-self-capability. Also, it will be source for ML engineering self-service business owned pipelines through configurable templates, storage for ML features and model outcomes, place for test and training the models, upstream and downstream integration layer or data source for these layers.About the RoleWe are looking for an engineer who is passionate about solving exciting problems by doing independent research, collaborating with data engineers, with extensive experience in delivering data platforms and scalable data pipelines in the public cloud. You’ll be working on platform tooling/capabilities or reusable frameworks which focus on efficiency, scalability, expandability, flexibility, all with the goal to help empower teams.You'll work with our Managed Service teams alongside service analysts, service delivery managers, developers, architects, designers, analysts and product owners to support and resolve incidents and to drive innovation and automation, tooling and data infrastructure development.As a key player of the data platform team, our team will architect and craft the platform to empower and implement data applications, including data ingestion framework, Data Observability, Data Quality, Anomaly detection, Data Lake/Data warehouse, business intelligence, APIs and reporting systems.
