This worldwide team comprises contract management professionals who handle work across Workday’s customer base and net new accounts. The team is asked to manage a large volume of requests and interact with several cross functional teams.About the RoleIn this role, you will assume a wide range of responsibilities, all of which will require critical thinking, innovation, and integrity. We are looking for someone with a solid work ethic, impeccable attention to detail, high energy, strong project management skills and a positive attitude. The utmost confidentiality is imperative, as you will be working on sensitive projects and will be privy to confidential information. Responsible for negotiating, structuring, and/or administrating contractual documents that establish business relationships with vendors, customers and/or partners. Work with sales and service teams as well as the legal department to structure contracts. Analyse contracts to ensure compliance to company policy, government specifications and other requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage workflow for contract review process for a variety of contract types, beginning with receipt of requests for contract generation through routing for signatures and final distribution.Assist with maintenance and improvements of contracts management processes and system as well as implementation and enforcement of contract policies.Coordinate with cross-functional teams during contract review, acting as a key contact for the legal department by providing guidance on commonly requested edits, non-standard terms, policies, questions, etc.Review proposed modifications to contracts and work with internal business partners and third parties to negotiate terms and obtain approvals for modifications as required.Draft and revise contract wording to address various situations as they arise.Maintain processes between the legal department and other groups, collaborating to continually improve the contracts administration process.Assist with legal review and response to requests for proposals (RFP/RFI/RFQ).Provide administrative and other support to in-house legal staff, including research, correspondence and record-keepingComplete assigned projects as determined by needs of the business and department.About YouBasic Qualifications5+ years of experience managing contracts (including drafting and negotiating preferably subscription/technology contracts) and contractual operations in a corporate environment.Bachelor’s DegreeOther QualificationsAble to review and negotiate documents such as NDAs with minimal guidance.Able to draft amendments related to Order Forms and Subscription Agreements.Ability to follow written processes to ensure successful and correct completion of assigned work.Ability to set priorities, be flexible and handle multiple tasks, and to track and follow up on projects.Detail oriented, meticulous and strong organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable working collaboratively in a team environment with all levels of the company, including executive management and sales teams.Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, shift focus, adapt to changing priorities, maintain patience in high pressure situations and take initiative where appropriate.Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with a contract management system, i.e. SFDC, ApttusExperience with electronic signature software, i.e. AdobeSign (preferred), DocuSign.Strong persuasive abilities, including outstanding influence and communication skills.Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output, team oriented, practical environment.Demonstrates enthusiasm for solving problems and adding value to the Company.Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
